MCEC strengthens democratic culture by equipping citizens, especially youth, with the knowledge and tools to actively participate in public life. Through curriculum development, teacher training, and school-based civic initiatives, we help build critical thinking, media literacy, and democratic values from an early age.
Our programs have resulted in thousands of students across North Macedonia engaging in community service, local problem-solving, and decision-making processes. We work closely with elementary and high schools, municipalities, and civil society to ensure that civic engagement becomes a lifelong practice, not a one-time event.
